Some days I just have to unplug myself from the world and watch old shows on tv.Yesterday was such a day. Some days we appreciate life and others we have to remind ourselves how lucky we are to be alive, to be able to move freely, to make friends…A rabbi once explained to me that mezuzah is attached to the door not as a symbol of protection from the outside world (Let’s face it, mezuzah never protected us) but as a reminder to us to protect our humanity.Every time a Jewish person attaches a mezuzah to the doorpost he/she affirms their commitment to be a better human being. Going in or out you are responsible to be the best you can be.Papercut and stained glass combination make up a beautiful and unique mezuzah. To my mind they both underline the beauty and fragility of our inner and outer worlds. And of course sun catchers, little dancer and little gymnast, are not connected but they do look perfect together.Sometimes things just fall into place!May more things fall into place for all of us!May we all keep this fragile world, this civilization going!May our people survive this new scourge coming from the outside while preserving our inner worlds!May our hostages come home!Be well!Be safe!Shabbat Shalom! 💐✡️🎗️
