I had a question regarding naming conventions for children from Rhodes. I’ve noticed that for many families the tradition was the oldest son, Behor, was named after the paternal grandfather and the oldest daughter, Behora, was named after the paternal grandmother. Then the second son was for the maternal grandfather and the second daughter was for the maternal grandmother. Additionally if the father died before a son was born they would name the son for the father. Other than that are there any common rules that would govern the naming of a third or higher son/daughter? Curious if anyone knows more about those traditions.
