**Hi everyone,**Just to clarify what I posted yesterday: I’ve now wrapped up my search for naturalization documents — at least for now.As I’ve mentioned before, it’s only from the 1930s onward that some immigration files began including photographs, so the number of such documents is quite limited.I’ve explored **FamilySearch** extensively, using all kinds of filters, and have pretty much exhausted what’s available there — same for **Brazilian visa records**. It’s only from 1939 onward that those visas began including photos.Immigration papers from before 1930 usually don’t contain photos, but they may still be of interest to the individuals or families concerned. These records are **freely accessible on FamilySearch**.What I was doing wasn’t just about collecting documents — before posting them, I always tried to identify which families they belonged to, and would often build small family trees to provide context. It was a time-consuming effort, but one I felt was worth it.Although my research focused on the **Rhodes** community, people from other **Sephardic backgrounds** may also find documents that relate to their own families.I’ll keep posting anything valuable I come across. And just a reminder: this space is also meant for **you** — feel free to share your own photos, stories, and contributions to help this project grow and enrich us all.
