The Singapore GenizaA friend of mine Mordy Miller who is working on his PH.D. thesis in Jewish Philosophy resides temporarily in Singapore. He bumped in the Synagogue into a trove of about 700 books, mainly prayer and Kabbalah which belonged to Baghdadi Jews who settled there. Many of the books have hand written dedications in the memory of deceased family members. They are written in Solitreo alphabet in Arabic language which is sometimes challenging but have also genealogical value. I enclose a link to an article about it and also a sample of a dedication. https://shalem.ac.il/en/news/one-shalem-graduate-700-books-and-the-history-of-a-jewish-community/
