Today on the 28th of Av, we remember the Martyrs of Rhodes. We remember their lives and carry them into the present. Their faith, their melodies, and their deep sense of Kahal remind us that even in times of darkness, Jewish life must endure and flourish.Their memory is a blessing when we allow the blessing into our lives — by recommitting ourselves to community, unity, Torah tradition, and hope; the very values for which they lived and, tragically, murdered. May their memory strengthen us to live proudly as Jews and ensure that their legacy continues through us.KE SUS ALMAS REPOZEN EN GAN EDENMAY THEIR SOULS REST IN THE GARDEN OF EDENAmen!
