Does anyone have a non-stock of photo of these? I’m curious to see how they look in real life. (I’m perseverating over what to get for a not-so-engaged 13yo that’s reminiscent of traditional-ish taletoth in time for the Yamim Noraim).

What has prevented changing the prayer for Israel from what is currently in our tefillot to the one co-authored by Rabbis Herzog and Uzziel that is found in most other noshaot today? Is it simply our conservatism with the nosah, or was it a theological decision?

I recall seeing somewhere that the Sinai reprints (with the translation of Ben Baruch Crehange) shared their text with the older, Levi editions of the London tefilloth. Is someone able to confirm that?

Can anyone point me towards any writings where Rev. Sabato Morais outlined his concept of “enlightened Orthodoxy?”

Are there any good books about the ways in which the S&P have integrated with/remained separate from the cultures of their history nations or on S&P culture as seemingly less “country oriented” (for lack of a better term) than other Sephardim?

Couple of questions:1. Where does the American custom derive from, and how’s its relation to both Amsterdam and London?2. Which variant of the S&P tradition are the French reprints from Sinai (translated by Crehange) based on? There are some textual oddities (like never having Pitum HaQetoreth during Minha) that don’t seem related to the US, Amsterdam, or London.

What’s the deal with Pitum HaQetoreth at Minha? KST states that in London, the Alexander print of the tefilloth didn’t have it, but the Levi and De Sola ones did; in Amsterdam it wasn’t said during the week, but was said on Shabbath and Yom Tob. My NY De Sola has, except for days when Tahanun is not read. My Sinai reprints of the French text don’t have it at all.

I recall reading at some point that the S&P UK were working on an updated copy of the Daily Tefillot (to compliment the new Shabbat and Home Service books). Does anyone know if that is something still in tje works?

What’s up with the use of “medrash” as opposed to “midrash” in English? I see it in the DSP siddur and the Askamot for the UK.

In light of (rightfully) critical responses to articles that misrepresent the history of the Nação, could we get a list of books that accurately discuss it?

Has anyone used Hakham Toledano's Haggada (Orach Yesharim)?

Similar to how Ashkenazim rely on Rashi, Yemenites on Onqelos and the Tasfir, and (AFAIK) Italians on Shadal for their respective peshat understanding of the Miqra, which commentary (ies) have been most influential in the S&P community for informing what the peshat is?

Two part question:1. Was/is there a particular way in which the S&P approached understanding/applying the Shulhan Arukh/rulings of Maran, similar to how there are a set of rules that Moroccan communities have?2. If the answer to #1 is yes, are the documented anywhere?

Did any of the Ministers of Shearith Israel or Mikveh Israel who argued that the our minhag should be minhag hamaqom for the US leave behind any writings about it?

Given that there won't be minyanim during Pesah, and that our custom is to insert the Tikkun into the repetition of Mussaf, are folks going to skip the Tikkun, or just read the 1st three berakhoth with the Tikkun (excluding Kedusha) and then carry on as normal?

Very happy to have tefilloth for the Ta'anioth, and grateful for the work put in by Ilana Köhler to make this.

What, if anything, would have changed in the siddur between the time there was a community in Suriname and now?

The resurrection of the tephillin discussion made me want to ask. Is this method used by any of the Portuguese communities in Italy, or is it particular to the Italqim/Benei Roma?

Anyone familiar with the "Mazal Yossef" siddur that is used at Buffault? I see that WSL sells copies: http://www.wslibrary.net/sifria/en/tephila/3826-sidour-mazal-yossef-chabat_-.htmlhttp://www.wslibrary.net/sifria/en/tephila/5597-sidour-mazal-yossef-hebreu_bnei-issakhar.html

Anyone have a PDF of the weekday prayers that they can (legally) share? I'd like to put a copy on my Kindle. Yes, I know about the Tefillot app; I tried using it, but praying from my phone screen doesn't feel right.
