I have finished Ketuba papercut, but upon further consideration, I don’t want to post it. I don’t know who all the people following my page are and who they know, so I don’t want to steal the thunder from the couple who commissioned itI did post the sketch and beginning of the process, and while I worked. It was a massive project.Welcome everyone to my page!Hello to my faithful followers who commen...
It’s been two years!Twenty live hostages are still being tortured by the evil.28 bodies are held by monsters! The hateful on the streets of our cities no longer pretend they care for Gaza. They bay for destruction of Israel.I hope to see our hostages, all 48, returned by the end of the week.My thoughts are with their families and all of our community.Today and always 🖖🕊️🎗️

Good morning everyone 🖖Today I want to share an article about me published by the Judith Magazine. It’s an interesting format. Basically it’s a transcription of what I said, so it’s not exactly a story as much as answers to the question.I have shared the story of my great uncle Aaron and will again sometime in a future. He was a character.Thank you to Elissa Wald and Judith Magazine for this wonderf...
Hebrew letters have a particular beauty and almost musical flow.I prefer to cut text in Hebrew rather than in any other language.3 years ago I decided to illustrate Alephbet by making every letter an artwork.I did it.Matted, some of the letters are 10”x8”.I like to keep mats standard size for easy framing. Some letters have sold and the rest is travelling with my other artwork from Portugal.However...
I have also other pieces of stained glass.Message me if interested.Visit my Etsy shop to see my papercut collection. https://kronickartstudio.etsy.com

Shabbat shalom everyone 🖖Why is it the world is worried about Gaza but not about our hostages? Why is it the world cares about Lebanon but not almost hundred thousand displaced people in Israel?I don’t know how I feel about the ceasefire with Lebanon but it’s not really important.I want to hear from my Israeli friends and family!Wishing everyone a safe Shabbat 🖖Peace to Israel 🇮🇱Bring them home 🎗️
I have put this artwork in to dark blue mat.I think it brings out the colors better. The name of this papercut is “The conversations around the tea table”.It was inspired by the Yiddish group I am a member of. Somebody posts a Yiddish word and people give translations according to their memory of how the word was used by their parents or grandparents who came from the different parts of Europe.It’...

Good morning all 🖖Every morning I get up full of good intentions, wanting to write something based on a thought I had…and some mornings I do.Then there are other mornings, that after reading some comments on the posts my blood boils and I just want to lash out.I wanted to write today about a Perkey Avot bit of wisdom “Without understanding there’s no knowledge. Without knowledge there’s no underst...
Good morning everyone.I did not know if I wanted to repost this memory but tomorrow is a holiday.Holiday that celebrate learning and passing on knowledge, and centuries of tradition and wisdom.Trust the powers of evil to choose this happy and festive occasion and try to make it a dark day for us.So, I decided it’s not happening. Most of our holidays celebrate survival so we add Simchat Torah to tha...
Last year, when the horror of what happened became known to all and when I came up for air…this was my first post after October 7th.I worked on this artwork to keep from braking.Mourners Kaddish.Throughout the year I have created a number of artworks based on Mourners Kaddish. As I mentioned on last Shabbat I’ve rarely gone to synagogue on Yom Kippur. My mom always said that as my parents are alive ...
It’s been a year! It’s been a year since evil was unleashed! It’s been a year since the world turned upside down! It’s been a year since over 1200 names were added to the Shoah! It’s been a year since over 250 people were taken into the bowels of evil! It’s been a year since the world erupted in hate and moral decay! It’s been a year and 101 hostages are still being held by the evil! It’s been a year sin...
Shabbat Shalom this first Shabbat of the year 🖖🎗️🍯🍏✡️
Good morning! Bom dia! Boker tov 🪬Shabbat shalom to all 💐I woke up to the rain, more of a drizzle, and while I am not a rain lover, it is definitely welcome. This summer, probably due to very wet half a year or more previously, was relatively fire free…until now.The fires are not in the hottest south of the country from where you can literally take a 3 hour ride in a ferry and be in Africa but in t...
When I started to work with reviving the almost lost art of Judaic paper cutting I cut my piece’s from a single piece of paper. Even at a very start I brought my own vision into this ancient art.Traditional papercuts were symmetrical.Created by folding the paper and probably cut using scissors (“The War of Paper and Scissors “ from 16 hundreds is the earliest mention of paper cutting as Jewish ar...
Good morning 😊I am a Judaica artist residing in Portugal.I am mainly a papecut artist but I often create artworks in other media…stained glass, jewelry, paintings and now painting on clothes 🤓Though I post weekly letters for Shabbat on my page and share them to all Jewish groups I am a member of, I rarely do a straight forward advertisement. If you are in Portugal or anywhere in Europe and are look...
