The Pitum Haketoret is an odd combination of texts that differs significantly from both sources in Bavli Keritot 6a-b and Yerushalmi Yoma 41:4. Does anyone have good material on this of a scholarly or rabbinic nature? English or Hebrew please :)

Sorry if this has been discussed before but I wonder if someone can turn me to some good sources that discuss S&P tsitsit wrapping. If it has detailed descriptions or drawings, hare zeh meshubah. This got on my mind from the following note in Minhage Mitsrayim OH 2:נוהגים לכרוך באויר ראשון שבעה כריכות כו' - ומנהגנו לכרוך על פי מנין אותיות הוי"הHe cites the Erekh Lehem 11:14 and Ba'er Heteb 11:24...

Anyone know the earliest use of the kinuy "Shabbat Shirah" for Beshalah? I am curious to know whether older Sephardi communities used this term. Bar-Ilan turns up very few results, the oldest of which is from the Levush, a 16th century Ashkenazi posek. Meanwhile, OHH has so many results that it is challenging to narrow it down.

Ok orthographers, this is for you: I am trying to spell the given name "Fortunate" in Hebrew characters. The Fortunate in question reportedly never used a translated/equivalent name such as "Mazal / Mazalit," and there are no documents to indicate whether or how her family spelled her name in Hebrew in their correspondence. I'm considering going with "פורטוניט" unless someone here can propose s...
