Dear Friends, The Jewish Telegraphic Agency just published a review of my surnames indexing in the Levant (Egypt, Syria, Lebanon and Iraq). At the end there is a search box where you can check in which cities a certain surname existed. You may be surprised to find Ashkenazi surnames as well. Try Greenberg, Abramovitch and Goldberg.
